I just voted as well. It wouldn't be fair to tell you who I voted for, so I will just keep it a Mystery. ;)

This could be a larger voter turnout then the last (US) presidential election....

...and you got my friend's vote too plus I voted you twice on other computers. That's four for me, I mean you.

What is voting system anyway? It would be nice to know what I'm voting for and if this is considered as *screwing the system* :)

    Thank you all!
These awards are given each year to "outstanding youths" (that's what Joven Sobresaliente means) in several categories. Most of them are about the showbiz : journalists, models, fashion designers. I guess they include the Science & Technology category for completeness.

As for "screwing the system", I don't think so - I believe the awards should be given by a jury based on individual merits, but since the organizers sent us the voting link and it's open to public voting, they effectively turned it into a popularity contest. So it's perfectly fair for anyone to vote.

For your peace of mind, here's a translation :

Ah... I can just see the headlines now....

"Gabriel Gambetta in SHOCK election win!"
"Vote rigging by Gambetta? Foreign influence suspected."

So... the only thing is now is how much you're going to pay us to keep this between ourselves...

    just kidding, well done ;)

    Pictures :)

In the first one, I'm receiving the award. I'm the guy in the middle. Yes, it is a tie with Marvin the Martian.

In the second one, I'm posing with the other winners. The pretty girl is a very well known TV host.
