I've been nominated to a local award, given each year to young people in my country, in the Science & Technology category.

I'm not suggesting anything, but I wanted to let you know that you can vote online here http://www.elcanal.com/jovensobresaliente2004 :)

    Thanks!

    Thanks :)

Besides, I don't think it's immoral at all - it's their choice to turn this "award" into a popularity contest.

It does seem kind of strange to open something like this up to public voting.

    That's why I voted. :)

I agree. It's because it's more of a social event than a real "award". But it's fun nonetheless, that's why I'm trying to win :)

    Thanks!

Thank you! And if it makes you sleep better, let me point out that I don't quite understand who organizes this event or how did I end up in that list :)
