What you think about this graphic style of 2D?

    Hi! I wonder if this graphic style of 2d game is atractive for players now, becouse game developer toil to come up with original graphic style (and sometimes they have great effects), but in the other hand modern 3d game engine tries to create as realistic world as possible. So I use Cycles Blender (I'm stil learning) and a few tricky mechanism for lighting and reflection effects. What you think about this?

    It might be attractive to some players. It makes me think about the game Trine, which is really beautiful. If you play with the lights and ambience, it has its place.

    Yes, Trine 2 is one of my favourite, but it's actualy 3d game. What you think about Fallout Tactics or Oddworld Abe's Oddyssey? They were 2d games with great look and I realy like them.

    I played Oddworld Abe's Oddyssey a little so many years ago. It was a good game. The concept of the game was more important than the graphics. Certainly, the graphics helped create a good mood.
