    Project

The recently formed Underwolf Studios is currently developing a new 2D side scrolling game named "Project Alpha" with a strong focus on storytelling, a unique art style and refreshing gameplay in the genre. The project currently has a team of 5 people, we are currently looking for a Game Designer, Audio Designer, and Game Developer (Unity).

Members of the development team have had a few years of experience in other independent projects within their own specialisations (Art/Writing/Game Development/Programming). We have worked on the concept since November 2017 and have a projected development time of another 4-5 months. The team has progressed a significant amount into the project with a lot of the documentation already produced. Therefore, the member would be utilising our level design process that is already set out, however, it still enables the designer to have a significant level of creative input within their domain.

Furthermore, the member would be required to be a team player as they will be interacting with the game and story development and art teams on a frequent basis. Additionally, they would also be required to attend weekly team meetings (through Discord, following an agile development structure) and update their progress on a regular basis on our Trello board.

Once the project releases, the team will split the earnings of the game in a fair fashion agreed upon and signed prior to producing work. The agreement will be outcomes based in order to guarantee fair compensation for the actual work produced.

Requirements for the Game Designer Role

    - A passion for video games
    - Experience with playing 2D platformers
    - Unique ideas
    - Ability to work within a team
    - Time management skills
    - Signing an non-discolsure agreement
    - Signing an outcomes based contract
    - Set aside a substantial amount of time during the week to design the levels.
    - Create new ability mechanics
    - Level design (Platforms)
    - Character design (mechanics)
Note : Previous game design / development experience is a bonus, however, it is not required. Each candidate will be given tasks during the interview phase, and the decision will be based on that.

Requirements for the Game Developer Role

    - Experience with Unity (whether that be independent or in a team)
    - Ability to work within a team
    - Time management skills
    - Signing an non-disclosure agreement
    - Signing an outcome based contract
    - Set aside a substantial amount of time during the week to develop the levels and characters (documentation provided)
    - Write clean commented code.
    - Be willing and able to contribute ideas to the team if the level is not satisfactory.
    Requirements for the Audio Designer
    - Ability to work within a team
    - Time management skills
    - Signing an non-disclosure agreement
    - Signing an outcome based contract
