Umbral Omen represents our first foray into actually publishing something, although we've been working on a whole lot of ideas from roguelikes to strategy games with tech trees. This particular project is a puzzle game with procedurally generated solutions. It's kind of like that old board game Mastermind where you make a guess and then get feedback that tells you how many correct pegs you guessed.

Each game picks rules from a pool of rules compatible with the symbols selected for that game, then generates a board that conforms to those rules.

When you make a guess, the game records all incorrect guesses and tells you how many symbols were correct (green) , incorrect (red) or adjacent to a correct symbol (yellow). The people who have tested the game all seem to get somewhat confused by the meaning of the yellow symbols, but it seems to work pretty well once you've played a few games.

The game is very close to complete and we're releasing on the 13th of February. If you've read this far, you have my sincere thanks! Any impressions or questions would be deeply appreciated.
