A quick preview here. All thanks to Paul Cunningham (Pumpkin Games).

    Droid Assault's next.

    Cas :)

Congrats, hope this does well. Surely seems a more suited platform for your kind of games :)

To be honest I don't really expect to actually make any money from it as such... it'll be about $10 or whatever that mid pricepoint is, M$ get their cut, then we split it 50/50 with Paul, then Chaz and I split the rest, then convert it into £... it ain't gonna be much.

    Cas :)

    Congratulations. Steam who?

Even if you're not making lots of money right away you will have a presence that can be built upon.

Congrat Cas! Hopefully it will will bring in a little extra revenue for you, but most importantly it should give Puppy Games a lot more exposure. ;)

Excellent, you mentioned you were doing this in the UK. Great to see it finally pan out. Good luck with Droid Assault (there's a game on there called Assault Droid btw). Maybe you need to call yours 360 Droid Assault or something.

What about Assault Droid Assault? Or Assault of the Assault Droids? Droid Assaults Droid? Assault Droid Assaults Assault Droid? Kind of reminds me of the "wolf-bands" plaguing Montreal and New York (Wolf Parade, Wolfmother, We Are Wolves... even the completely inappropriately-named AIDS Wolf... if I had any musical talent, I'd form a band called We Are Wolfmother Parade Wolf).

Congratulations, you should port Titan Attacks ASAP.
How did you handle the port from Java to Xbox? was it a total remake?

    Nice one Cas.

This has just given me some horrible flashbacks from a period in my life where I had to port 6 cellphone titles from J2ME to BREW (c++). Editing code more or less blind for a fortnight until suddenly it compiles. And then the fun starts :s

I already own Ultratron for the Mac, but I'd gladly pay 400MS points for Titan Attacks. Also, congrats :)

    Awesome!

Now if only I had a 360 (and the time to waste playing it all day long). :D

If anyone's interested - Paul more or less rewrote most of the "engine" code in C# to his own strange design, it's similar but erm not similar if you see what I mean. But the way he's done it will make Droid Assault and Titan Attacks pretty much a piece of piss to port over (as they share about 90% of the same code). So it won't be long!

    Cas :)
