Hi! We're a dev team from Utrecht, the Netherlands. We're two musicians with a passion for making and playing games, so naturally we've decided to make a game of our own. As of today, we've officially begun working on our game called "The Party". We've taken two weeks off from our regular boring work to work on this project day and night. No work means no income, so we'll be living on water and noodles for the next 7 days.

"The Party" is a story driven game where every choice matters. It's a 2D side-scroller about a girl named Liz, who's going to an 'end of the world' party. Everyone has noticed the strange planet in the sky, but they don't talk about it on the news. Some people believe it's just passing by, but some believe it's going to demolish the earth. Our game will be filled with puzzles, secrets and will have multiple endings. Is it just an ordinary party with ordinary friends, or is there more to the story...

If you have any tips or advice for a new dev team, please let us know! Also, let us know if you like the style we're using!

I love the concept! Your game's narrative is interesting, and I like the minimalist art style. Followed you on twitter so I can keep up with your game! Good luck to you both!

Indeed, sounds like an interesting narrative.
My usual tips for new devs is : aim small and get it done (and also don't expect money). There's nothing as empowering as actually finishing a project, even if it's small in scope.

    Good luck and have fun!
