What was the nicest(coolest) thing a fan of your games has made?

I've got astonished when I saw this:
    http://dylosworld.wordpress.com/

He even has a home made Dylo!

Before that I have had some mails with "We really enjoyed it, good work!" but this is a line in my indie developer career.

I guess some of you have big comunities of fans but I'm new and I didn't see it coming, it really surprises me.

When did you feel this for the first time?
And more interesting for me: How?

That's absolutely stunning :) Reminds me when somebody made "Best Friends" (Retro64's game) costume.

    Awesome!

    Yes Laki,

We've been on a bunch of TV and in films including The Sopranos and Saturday Night Live - Lorne Michaels was playing on his Mac when Steve Martin stormed in asking for a raise.

A lot of comedy TV writers enjoy the game too so there are random mentions.

And, a series of novels has the main character playing Snood to chill out and re-charge.
