Please help test this web game with a preroll advertisement from adsense for games here.

    http://www.heavygames.com/theblackknight/gameonline.asp

    In general...

    - Do you see an adsense for games advertisement before the game shows?
    - What type of ad do you see, a video preroll or a common adsense links advert?
    - If there is nothing displayed, does the game simply show up immediately or do you get a PSA (public service announcement)?
    - Are you a US or non-US visitor?
    - Does the game show up and work after the preroll?

Please no comments about the appropriatness! Just trying to test functionality.

For curiosity I tried the page with Firefox popular Adblock plugin, and the ads didn't show, but neither the game. So people that can't see the ads, can't play the game either. Don't know if that's how it should be but wanted to let you know :)

I have adblock plus running (firefox, UK) and I have it configured to block most google ads, as well as the fastclick ads.

I see text reading "Advertisement Your game will load shortly."

I see neither an ad nor a game.

ABP is quite easy to turn on/off, so adding a note to the effect of "If you don't see a game..." should cover it.

Clicking to turn off adblock completely and then reloading, I get a video ad for progressive insurance, followed by the game.

Updated the loader to load up the game if the advert load fails. Can those with Adblock check this out?

    http://www.heavygames.com/theblackknight/gameonline.asp

Also, I tried adblock and it seemed to block everything except this advert. Where did you all get your Adblock filters from that blocked it?

The game now loads up happily with no ads.

I have a filter set on http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/* which is probably what was blocking it. I set that up myself, though, it's not from a standard list.

Why are you doing this? If I had enought time I would make it so that all that block adsense from my page also don't get to see any of the free content on it (flash games and printables)
