Mostly moderators review posts that have been caught by the spam filter, or posts that have been reported by members and take the appropriate action such as approving, deleting or banning a thread, post or user. You can read about the Moderator badge here: http://forums.indiegamer.com/threads/badge-request-guidelines-read-first.38306/ which explains a bit about how I approve of new moderators.

i read there that you have just to write a pm to get a moderator (if you are active and so on)
so i wanted to know what a moderator does so i can know if i can do and i should write you or not :)
according to what you said, i think i would like to be a moderator, please pm me if you need any information from me

    greetings
