Can anyone help me with collision detection?

I'm programming a videogame engine. It's written in JavaScript, HTML5 and Canvas

I have width height of sprites and X, Y coordinates ... I can do some rough collision detection already, but are there any standard libraries I could use?

Also, rotating ... I don't think I could do collision detection, if I were to rotate square/rectangles! ... This is where I'm looking for a standard library.

My trajectory math is done with X,Y also! ... not 360 degree values but I could convert my X,Y values to a 360 trajectory if a standard library did this.

    Any help would be great!
