OK folks here are the Monday night dinner plans for those coming to Seattle for Casuality.

I've looked around, and the best place I can find near Benaroya Hall (where people will be picking up their badges on Monday night) is

    McCormick and Schmick's
    1103 1st Ave
    Seattle, WA 98101
    (206) 623-5500

    Monday night, 7:00 pm.

Reservation is under Casual Games Association.

Those of you with us last year will remember this place. It's where we all ate together last year. I was looking for a place where we can talk and not be interupted by loud music and bad accustics.

I've made a reservation for 20, but I need to get a better count by Friday. So if you could, please respond to this thread if you can make it.

I'll be there. Unless I miss a connection and my suitcase gets lost like last year.

    I'll be there.
BTW: Anyone know the best parking for there?
I kinda avoid downtown when I can. It scares me.

    Re: parking.

Go down to Western (one block west, downhill from 1st St) and park under the viaduct if you can't find a street spot. There will be plenty of parking at 7pm on a Monday night... I wouldn't worry about it.

Or better yet... ride the bus.

Are you talking about July 16th at 7 PM?
Why have you decided to stick exactly with that time?
Do you know that July 16th at 7 PM there gonna be a CGA pre-party hosted by King.com at Spitfire?

Not very wise to force people to choose between several events :(

That's invitation only and apparently most of us aren't invited :(

Most of us don't appear to have been invited to the party with King.com. And some people are local and aren't attending the conference anyway but are active on this forum. So it makes sense for those of us who can't go to the other party to at least have dinner together.

Personally I think a smaller setting allows for better discussion without the blaring DJ music drowning out conversations.

The King.com party is 7-10pm, long enough to jump between the two if you really wanted to (or if you wanted to try your pool skills against The Black Widow).

Count me in for the dinner!

I want to go too. It looks like quite a few people will show that I saw last year in exactly the same place.
