    Hey,
Been working on multiple particle effects that we're going to use for different enemy and summond spells. This is the blue fireball effect that will be applied to only certain enemy types. The summond who shoots out fireball will have the reddish-orange version of this effect.

This is the impact effect, of when the blue fireball spell hits any wall within the scene, or any enemy. As you can see, the background and platform slightly wiggles to exaggerate the effect and make it more appealing. Definitely provide feedback and don't forget to follow my team through our social media pages, provided in our signature (down below)

    Hey,
Been working on multiple particle effects that we're going to use for different enemy and summond spells. This is the electric rise spell that will be applied to one of our summond. This particular spell has more range and rate of fire, but will have a significant spell usage count.

This is the fire breath spell that will be applied to the dragon Humanoid summond. We're open to all feedback. Thanks!

Orbs are core keys that players have to collect and use in order to unlock certain objects such as treasure chests, missions cages, and more.

Provide feedback. Let us know the potential that you foresee in this game so far. We still don't have all of the gameplay puzzle mechanics implemented into the game yet such as switching between the two summon types (big and small) in order to press down on pressure plates and traverse the room quickly to race against time. And many more simple puzzles that consists of the transformation gameplay mechanic.

What I like the most is probably all the mysteries and secrets those games tend to have; it adds a lot of replay value.

Castlevania: Symphony of The Night is my favourite, for the gothic-fantasy theme, the music, and all the many hidden rooms, items, endings, secrets etc.

Castlevania Symphony of The Night is a great choice, as that game is one of our inspirations. I love the backtracking that the player have to execute in order to reach new areas, resulting in the game being 2D open-world like and not linear. Other inspirations include Legend of Zelda series, Outland, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Super Mario Bros series as well as Dark Souls.

Feel free to provide feedback. Are you understanding the transformation mechanic? Are you understanding some of the puzzle element(s) that we have in-game so far? Also, don't forget to subscribe to our mailing list on our website, if you haven't already.

(Click on this Kickstarter link/image below, to donate/pledge). This funding is all or nothing, so be sure to donate/pledge right away:

"Rize of the Summonds" is a unique 2D medieval style metroidvania game, in which player has the power to transform into legendary Summonds along their journey in the Kingdom of Elaria. Use the transformations of the fearless Dragon, stealthy Wraith, heavy Orc, agile Cat and many more; each equipped with unique abilities in order to traverse new areas, defeat enemies, complete challenges, overcome traps and solve mysterious puzzles. The heavy Orc's weight to step on pressure plates, agile Cat's speed to jump high and run fast are just a few of the unlocked abilities.

My independent game "Rize of the Summonds" is now on Kickstarter crowdfunding website. Any donation and support is greatly appreciated. We will use the funds to recruit a few more developers, to speedup and polish production. This will allow the game to release quicker and more polished. Share and Like this post as well.
