    Team is working on mutliple tasks. Plan on having a build and more videos/trailers by April 6th so we can submit our game for Terminus Conference and Festival(we can win awards and showcase our game, if selected).

    We are currently working on revising the levels and adding particle effects, sounds, and other visual/audio feedback. Will upload gifs and screenshots of this, later on.

    What do you guys think? Open to any feedback.

    Note that the project is still a work in project. We are currently updating the level to expand and add ramps and curves to the platforms, updating some of the characters and adding more characters as well as scripting better smarter A.I system. We are going to be displaying possibly 2 trailers, since we need to create them to compete in the "Terminus Conference + Festival" contest. Wish us luck!!

    The team is focusing on creating our company's website and revising our Game Design Document (GDD) so that it's a maximum of 10 pages long. The Terminus Conference + Festival contest deadline is tomorrow (4/6/2017) at midnight pacific time. We are in preparation to submit. We will gain more exposure through this contest and future conventions and competitions.

    We submitted to the Terminus Conference + Festival contest before midnight, last night. We should be notified by May 11th, on if we are finalists or not. I'm super excited just because this is our very first contest that we are participating in :)

    Bugs that we are going to fix!:
    1) Ever since I added the background images (The gates located in the background), each summond glitches behind them for a second, when switch between move left and move right.
    2) Some of the enemies just launches into the air for no reason, lol.
    3) The platforms are overlapping each other, at the corner.

    Gameplay update!!

    First off, I need to make sure that I purchase the full version of bandicam so I can get rid of the watermark and create hd quality recordings. Unless, do you guys know of free video/gameplay recorders with great quality? Let us know.

    We used the Ferr2D unity plugin in order to create the terrain platforms, adding curves to them as well. I used this same tool for the background gates, but I want to find out how I'm going to add other patterns such as rocks, broken gates, etc.... Ferr 2D also forced us to create spritesheets which allows us to save valuable memory, in the long run (spritesheets is the only way Ferr2D will read the assets).

    Successfully applied to both of the Spring Play events in New York City and San Francisco. Will be attending these events. So excited because these will be the first 2 events that I attend for our game.

    SPRING PLAY: New York Game Expo was an awesome experience! We received many great feedback including ways to improve our game. Many players enjoyed the tranformation mechanic and the concept behind it as well as the revamped art style and the sound design. People enjoyed playing our game and want more of it. My team was able to gather some emails for our mailing list, so they can follow the team and our updates with the game. Our website is almost complete, and we will post our official website on here, so our fans on here can sign up for our mailing list, and follow us on our social media sites as well. Now, we are in preparation for SPRING PLAY: San Francisco Game Expo! We will make sure to update as much as possible, according to the feedbacks, before we showcase our game for this event. We will make sure to pass out business card and convince others to spread the word!

    Akira - Punches her enemies using her fist

    Orc - Heavy attacks, jumps low and runs slow

    Cat - Shoots out arrows, jumps the highest

    Wraith - Medium attacks using scythe weapon, jumps medium

    Dragon - Shoots out fireballs, jumps low and runs slow

    -Added better transformation system of which player press T key and can select the specific summon to transform into. Need to speedup the actual transformation.

    -Now I know how I'm officially going to be creating the background to Dragon Lair rooms; By using the regular wall structure as the base and then using the secondary wall structure to create end points for the base structure.

    -In the process of recruiting another programmer who is advanced skilled in more intricate Enemy A.I system and other scripts. This should improve our game more by making enemies more smarter, and patrols and such.

    -These are the characters that are completed and in the process of being animated:
    Old Demon Lord, New Demon Lord, Bat Lvl 1, Bat Lvl 2, StoreKeeper, Injured Prisoner (pig humanoid), Scorpion Lvl 1, Scorpion Lvl 2.

    - Goal: Make at least 3 new characters per week. Lets grind these out. Have alot of creative characters to make for this game.

    Updates:
    - Added time to potion item healing.
    - Edited UI scripts and player stats scripts for time-based healing.
    - Moved old scenes to old scenes folder.
    - Animation rotation speed for coins added (Note: we were inspired by Super mario series, including the collecting of coins strategically placed in the levels)

    - Added Pre-Room 1. (Teaches player about traps and uniquely using summons to bypass them)

    -Changed bronze coin value to 50
    -Changed silver coin value to 100
    -Changed gold coin value to 350
    -Slowed down health regeneration speed for each food
    -Changes values for each health potion and food
    -Added Ogre Lvl 1 and Lvl 2 mini Boss assets with their animations
    -Added New Dragon Humanoid enemy Lvl 1 and 2 assets with their animations

    New transformation system: As you can see, we've added each summond's face image into the circles, so that player can easily identify which summond they want to quickly transform into. Also bronze coins to the left of Akira, have a value of 50, and they rotate along the z axis as well as float up and down to provide visual feedback.
