I've tried posting this on the RegNow forums, but I apparently have to wait for them to vet it before posting ( which is odd considering the amount of anti-RegNow flaming that goes on there )

I have set up four games with RegNow. They're set up with serial key delivery only. Now I can't find any way to add full version ( for CD's and certification ) and trial version ( for affiliates ) downloads. Where am I supposed to do this? Or do I need to remove the programs and set them up all over again? ( I've never come across a more time-wasting and intentionally awkward control panel system in my life. )

Now the other thing is the trial version certification. As I understand it, the best way to ensure affiliates get paid is not to use the cookie, but get certified ( ooer! ) This seems to involve retrieving my buy URL from the registry, and they provide code examples. That's fine if i was in control of my buy URL's, but I'm not. I have SoftwarePassport set up to work a bit like Reflexive/Big Fish. There is no in-game buying and reminding, it's all done before and after via Software Passport. I do NOT use Digital River keys, just standard ones. ( I'm not up for a debate on why I'm wrong to do this, I prefer
it. ) So is there a way to set that up so that I can still use SP as I do, but also retrieve the url into SP for the regnow certification?

And finally, I see there's an option to distribute my games in the Digital River Network. They offer a download of a lite version of Software Passport. Do I need to use this or can I just create DR-Edition keys in the version of SP I paid for? And if I do install their version, will it co-exist with my own version of SP or do I need to install it on another PC so that they won't mess each other up?

Sorry for the ( probably ) dumb questions, but RegNow seem to work incredibly hard to make things as confusing and vague as possible. I had zero problems with ShareIt and even Plimus was pretty straightforward.

I'm not sure if it's good etiquette to answer one of your own questions, but I have now confirmed that it is not possible to use Software Passport to retrieve the buy URL. Perhaps it's a security risk. Either way, if Silicon Realms don't want to do it, I don't either. I'll make do with the cookie method for small affiliates and make custom builds for bigger affiliates.

I still have no clue about the other questions though, so feel free to jump in ;)
