Build Towers to Ward off Relentless Attacks of Monsters

Voodoo Dimention and Big Fish Games today announces the release of Master of Defense, a new strategy game with a wide array of monster types, wonderfully crafted 3D visuals, and animations

If you enjoy strategy games, then chances are you will have fun playing Master of Defense. The game challenges you to ward off relentless attacks from nasty monsters and to protect the people who sought refuge in your castle. By building various towers, casting magic spells and fortifying your defenses, you can meet monsters’ attacks with a barrage of fire, trying to save every villager. Defeating monsters also yields rewards -- you get paid for one killed monster and gain monetary bonuses at the end of each attack. Use this bonus money to upgrade your towers to increase their firepower, fire speed and range.

“Master of Defense is a unique game in the casual games market†said Patrick Wylie, Vice President of Big Fish Games Studios.“We decided to publish Master of Defense mainly because half of our company can’t stop playing it while the other half watches. Secondly, we think that its differentiated casual game style is just what a younger audience has been clamoring for – an accessibly addictive RTS!â€

Master of Defense lets you explore six diversely themed locations, where you engage into combat with a wide array of monster types. Creatures range from big-headed thingies to mutated animals to flying insect-like monsters. All of them move along a wavy road to your castle. Your objective is to strategically build towers so that monsters are exposed to the maximum fire power. You can fight with four types of towers, a balloon and with magic spells. As the game progresses, monsters become stronger, faster and take more effort to destroy. Therefore, you must spend money on building new towers and upgrading the old ones to improve your chances of winning.

The game is displayed in true 3D from the first-person perspective. You can easily scroll the camera over the ground by using arrow keys on the keyboard, or your mouse. Master of Defense pleases the eye with wonderfully-crafted visuals, level design and animation effects which are peppered throughout the game. All this adds to the game’s replay value and keeps the game fresh and interesting without making it tedious, frustrating or allowing the user to get lost in a 3D space. Master of Defense allows you to save the game at any time and return to it later. The full version of the game features over 180 raids of monsters, an exhilarating Survival mode, and an online high scores table to compare your defensive prowess.

Do take the time to read forum FAQ, its there for a reason (one of them is me wanting to see a screenshot *before* taking the effort of reading the *long* text)
