I was wondering how you would go about structuring the release of your game on several portals and if/how that would affect sales. For instance, is it better to release everywhere all at once, or would it be better to release on different portals at different times to try and maximize the sales? Is there a cannibalistic effect or is each portal's audience mostly loyal to that portal and thus blind to releases elsewhere?

Anyone noticed any patterns or results that might be useful to point out?

    Thanks,

    Jason,

Bear in mind that portals will very likely process submissions at different time rates. Some portals may take up to two months from submission of your game, legal docs, correspondence, marketing media etc. on to eventual release. It's very easy to attempt to release on multiple portals at the same time and still get staggered releases :)

Unless you come up with an immediate blockbuster that is!
