We are a Silicon Valley based Indie Game startup and are currently looking for a talented 2D map tile artist who can create several new sets of dungeon and village tiles, as well as extend an existing set of wilderness tiles for our upcoming Fantasy RPG.

The game's art style is realistic - no cartoon or pixel art.

This is a larger project which will last for several months; please apply only if you have full-time availability and interest in completing a project of this size. There would be enough work for more than one artist, but in order to have style consistency we prefer working with only one committed person.

The ideal candidate has experience in drawing landscapes and cities, shows creativity while adhering to our rough style guidelines, communicates with the rest of the team several times a week, works with us defining the art schedule and milestones, and ideally also enjoys playing fantasy RPGs.

The project us fully funded. Pay is competitive and based on experience; we regularly pay bonuses for quality work delivered on time.

Please reply with links to previous projects/portfolios.

Thanks for your interest Valentine. There are no public replies here, but we got quite a few private messages, and the position has been filled.
If we have more art needs, I'll let you know.
    Best regards!
