We're working on Pahelika: Revelations, the sequel to our Pahelika: Secret Legends. Here are some W.I.P. screenshots and a video. Your feedback is appreciated.

Nice stuff! already in just 2 screenshots I see a graphics level better than the previous chapter.
In these screenshots I feel less fantasy atmosphere and more real ambient...but I have to see the whole project :)

What 3D software are you using for Revelations?

Wonderful! I only have a doubt about the floor in the second image: isn't it a bit too shiny (considering the context)?

Nice but those room screenshots are way too dark.

Thanks :) Yes, In this game the story happens in the current world, but there are still a lot of fantasy locations in there. We are using blender, as we always have.

I guess you're right, I will talk to our artist about it.

Part of the reason why those screenshots look dark is because they're framed against a white background. They don't look quite as dark in fullscreen mode :)

We use Blender because we are proficient in that. When we started, we could not afford to buy the commercial 3D packages. Now we use blender because that's the only 3D modeler we are comfortable with.

Looks promising but Lennard is right. It is WAY to dark. May be you shouldn't have turned your brightness to max on your monitor ;)

Great stuff! You should post your game wip on blender artists forum, people there will be amazed.
If you are using Blender GE, will you protect your working files and how?

    Hey, good idea that. Thanks!

Pahelika: Revelations is a 2D game. It uses the modified Popcap Engine.
We don't really try hard to protect the working files, although we do use a PAK format.

Cool. Nice to see blender in production. It's a serious consideration if a small studio is starting out and they need something powerful but can't afford the autodesk stuff. Especially since the 2.5 version.
