Not really. You had 140 initiated downloads and 336 MB of data transfer. But the installer is 6 MB, so you had at most 56 completed downloads (the figure is probably lower due to the partial downloads)

No need to spam the forum. Whenever people have any comments, they generally post them.

What do you want to hear? It's a badly done pacman game.

    Hi,

Thank you for playing my game: "PacDude Hero 2".

It is a work in progress, so perhaps you could tell me exactly what is bad and good about it?

    Thanks again for playing!

I've obviously not played it, but I'm not sure what sort of feedback you really want.

Is this a serious attempt at selling an indie game or perhaps a middleware engine? How are you planning to actually monetise this?

    Hi,

Perhaps you could play and provide feedback?
(like how you like the graphics, sound, music, gameplay, etc.)

    I am an open-source/freeware advocate,
so I am not trying to sell this game or its engine.

I stopped playing this sort of game a long time ago, but I can see from your screenshots that it needs a good artist on it more than anything else. The biggest problem is the contrast between the pixel art coder style bits and the stuff that looks rendered.

I'm sure that's admirable, but this is a board for independent game developers. Hence my surprise at seeing something this rough looking posted here tbh.

Sorry, not trying to be rude but this just isn't a beginner's feedback forum. You'll get a lot more out of the gd.net crowd when you announce it as a freebie.

If its feedback you want, you should have posted in the feedback forum. I'd brace yourself first, though.

I don't think he wants feedback. I gave him some twice and got totally ignored.

    Hi,

I really don't understand how people can have an opinion of my game
without actually playing the game first?(thats the definition of "ignorance")

Perhaps I am wrong, but my web site's statistics don't lie:
If the game was terrible, people would not download it...

    Yes, that's apparent.

Maybe for "ignorance" you can substitute "experience". I might be wrong, this could be the most engrossing game ever written. But I think I'll stick with the ignorance option - I'm sure I'll be fine.

Like Desktop said, post this in the feedback forum if you want feedback. But better yet, don't, as this is board is the wrong place for getting pats on the back for writing a free pacman clone to a hobbiest level.

    Hi,

This is not a "clone" of arcade game PacMan.
That would be too easy and too boring.

You a bitter person, do my a favor and stop replying to my forum posts.

Hmmm. The irony is killing me with how much of that you got wrong. You'd think with 4000+ posts between us we might know by now what should go where, but thanks for putting us straight.

btw, you've already had some feedback. What, only "you're the greatest" is allowed for feedback now? Very well. You're the greatest.

The screenshots are bad and the artwork is very poor. That isn't ignorance, its a first impression and your screenshots are creating a bad one.

But.... you just said that people MUST download it BEFORE finding out its terrible. Didn't you?? Or did I misunderstand, and I quote "I really don't understand how people can have an opinion of my game without actually playing the game first?".

    Make up your mind.
