Came across this contest announcement on GameDev.net a few days ago:

    http://www.openginesdk.com

Everything I've read so far seems ok (i.e. it seems legit).

The documentation for the toolkit you MUST use is pretty thin, and I've yet to get a clear mental picture of how the engine works but the lure of a $10,000 first prize will keep me at it a little while longer :)

    Any thoughts?

Someone was promoting this at IGC, essential what they are is elaborate bingo games that are popular in canada. What they do is set up big rooms with these "Video Games" except instead of looking like a dingy dark casino, they have a nice clean high tech, CES type of feel. The games you would make for this competition are basically elaborate bingo games. But as you say 10k is a nice prize for a bingo game. (I can't believe real had a 100k game contest)
