For those games that support global/on-line hi-scores, how do you do this?
Do the portals/publishers offer this, or do you roll your own?
Virtual MySQL webserver with some communication from your game client?
Any bits of example code out there or plug and play stuff?

    Thanks,
    Phil

I think this has been asked a few times. Not sure on the exact amount of info but a forum search may help you?

I was thinking of asking this question myself. I couldn't find much information on it though.Hopefully, no one will mind if this thread comes back to life as it would be really beneficial, not to mention, there may have been better ways discovered since the last time a thread similiar to this was discussed.

Actually I'm not sure if the past discussion were only about the security of them rather than the actual implementation... :)
