Can you host shareware games with direct linking? :)

How much bandwidth do you have? do you have a server cluster?

Link directly to the download file on your site. :D

And Indiepath's questions are valid, because speed, burst rate, clusters, etc, are important for fast uninterrupted downloads.

Of course it's valid, why would you want to link directly to a site that does not have enough bandwidth to service your requirements?

I have loads of bandwidth, and its on a cluster server, and if I need bandwidth I can get more. I am buddies with one of the upper-ups of the hosting company, check it out.. http://www.cartika.ca - I'm on a reseller account ;)

Direct Linking? We'd have to test that, but why not just direct link to your showcase page, where people post comments and rate it? :D

Even without direct linking a listing site that hosts the game and takes <1 minute to add a game is worth paying dues to so I've just added Gunstorm.

I was a bit confused by "Showcase" in the menu lieading to the games list. Perhaps just "Games" or something might make it more obvious for visitors?
