Monkey

    Just clarify:

    Monkey is free (public domain) - the main language
    Mojo isnt (copyrighted) - the main graphics module

    You cant really do anything at the moment without Mojo though.

    Version #39 of Monkey was just released.

    Yep... but I would wait for v40 :p (v39 has at least one major bug with the generated code)

    Not quite "next week" - more like 3 weeks later - Pirate Solitaire has been released on the iOS store :)

    Monkey had memory issues in pre-v40 (39?) on iOS and also it didnt steam the music so music took up heaps of RAM. Apart from that Monkey did a great job - all I did was copy the project to the Mac, opened up Monk :)() then compiled for iOS - a minute later I was playing the game on the simulator (with no issues! My problems happened on an actual device...)

    Also Monkey v41 was released 4 days ago...

    Wow 41 already :D I'm going to wait probably 1 year until is really stable, and until there are some very good wrapper libraries, before I consider ever starting a project (but that's because I'm lazy).
