Hi there! My name is Em Baker. For the past four years I've been composing original music themes and designing sound effects for a game that has just been cancelled. I was the Lead Audio Designer for a small indie game studio in the UK, working on a rev-share contract. Now that the game has been shelved, I have an enormous amount of audio assets that I would love to find a good home for! The music themes that I've composed are Asian-themed, but very modern-sounding (i.e. mixing shamisen and koto instruments with electronic elements and orchestral strings). Several of the themes do not have Asian-inspired instruments or scales. I've written: - Epic combat themes / boss fight themes - Town / marketplace themes (uplifting, ambient) - Character themes (emotional, moving) - Multiple themes for various locations and moods (dark, sinister; sweet, light; heroic, grand, etc) I have also designed a massive amount of sound effects, including creature / monster SFX, combat SFX, atmospheric SFX, character SFX (footsteps, jumping / climbing) and UI SFX. If you are a dev working on a game project that needs original audio and you think that this audio could be a good fit for your project, please feel free to reach out to me! I've worked so hard on all of this music and sound design, and I would really love for it to find a good home. I am open to discussing rev-share opportunities for games that are fairly far along in the development cycle or nearing completion. For games that are still in the brainstorming stage, I am open to discussing a small fee for each song that you would like to use in your game. I am also hoping to join a new game dev project as an audio designer, so if you are searching for a composer or sound designer (or both), please do reach out to me, I'd love to learn about your project and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Again, I am definitely open to rev-share opportunities for games that are fairly far along in the development cycle (would love to see gameplay videos or a playable build of your projects!) I have over 10 years of experience as a music producer / composer, and my music has been used in multiple independent films and film trailers. I'm highly experienced with multiple DAWs and very skilled at mixing, mastering, dialogue editing and post-production audio. Ready to send over samples of the music themes or SFX on request. Here is a teaser trailer of the game that was cancelled: And a few examples of the film work I've done: I also have a dark electronic music project called P'like, and you can check out all of my albums here on Spotify: My website: https://www.plikemusic.com Thanks so much for reading my long-winded post!
