    Greetings!

I am a young and active marketing expert looking for a job in the videogames industry, combining my two passions: marketing and videogames. I will keep it "short" for you. If you have further questions you can contact me at my email: rubrichinf@gmail.com

My skills include, but are not limited to:
    • Marketing Strategist
      • I have made succesful marketing plans, and most importantly, I have made them work. My experience comes from the women's fashion industry, which I find a harder one than the games market.
      • I will always keep the team informed through reports. I will work closely with you to set milestones that I will accomplish in a defined space of time.
      • One of my first and most important tasks will be developing a marketing plan.
    • Social Media
      • I am proficient at SEO (SMO). Because keywords and hashtags are always relevant.
      • Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest... You name it. I have worked with every major social media platform in the past, and I have enough knowledge of each of them to make the marketing strategy work.
      • I build engaged communities, not only followers and likes.
      • Constant research and analysis of statistics.
      • Customer service specialist. I put the audience first, and treat them with the importance they deserve.
      • I have experience with social media management tools such as HootSuite.
    • Graphic Design
      • I have intermediate skills in both Photoshop and Illustrator, and I can combine this skill with social media to deliver a high impact in engagement and followers.
      • Of course all my designs are oriented to marketing. They do their job.
    • Psychology Knowledge
      • Even though I do not hold an actual degree, I am self-educated in psychology, and this (positively) affects my marketing work.
    • I love videogames
      • Do not think I am just a marketing expert. I have hobbies too, and my go-to hobby is videogames. I have been playing videogames in every platform since I was 3 years old. From Medievil and FIFA 98 to Starcraft, Super Meat Boy, and the last Super Mario. I really love playing games and that is one of my main reasons to look for a job in the industry.
      • I have more than 3000 hours played of online shooters, and an immeasurable amount of time invested in RPGs.
      • I am or have been part of major gaming communities like Reddit and Steam Forums.
    • Translator
      • An important part of my work experience comes from being a (mostly freelance) translator. Currently I am helping in an indie game as a QA Tester and Lead Translator. You can expect me to translate your game to English, Spanish, and basic German and French. I have helped translating some games games in the past, as well as websites and documents.
      • In fact I was part of Steam Translation Server for some time, and I have translated some strings of Minecraft!
    • I am qualified
      • I have relevant qualifications in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and Google Analytics (all of them acredited by universities or by Google).
Thank you for reading. Hope we can work together in your next game!

  • About Indie Gamer

When the original Dexterity Forums closed in 2004, Indie Gamer was born and a diverse community has grown out of a passion for creating great games. Here you will find over 10 years of in-depth discussion on game design, the business of game development, and marketing/sales. Indie Gamer also provides a friendly place to meet up with other Developers, Artists, Composers and Writers.
  • Buy us a beer!

Indie Gamer is delicately held together by a single poor bastard who thankfully gets help from various community volunteers. If you frequent this site or have found value in something you've learned here, help keep the site running by donating a few dollars (for beer of course)!
