    Greetings,

I am in the process of starting up a studio and bring on team members not all of them are in the area of the studio. With that in mind I need good solid NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and NC (non-compete) forms. Anyone know where I can find good examples of these?

    Thank you for your time,
    J.L.Allen

Hey Telknor, and welcome to Indie Gamer!

If you're not willing to spend some money on customising your agreements, I would suggest checking out Docracy's popular/featured agreements. Here's a popular small business NDA: https://www.docracy.com/27/generic-shortform-nda (You'd obviously need to tweak a few things to fit for you).

You can check out some featured docs here: https://www.docracy.com/application/dochome

Thank you for the welcome Duke. Money is not the issue in this matter but the lack of understanding of the industry by the legal people I've talked to locally. I will look over the links provided. Thank you for those. I am also going to try and check with Damon Slye at Mad Otter games and see if they have some forms I could tweak. It's been a while since I've spoken to him but a number of years ago I was trying to do a remake of his old game Project Firestart (1989 Commodore 64/128 game). Due to that game's rights still being owned by EA I promptly got a Cease and Desist about 20% of the way into development. I kinda got cold feet about doing anything in game development after that but now I'm ready to try again. Only this time with something of my own.
