We are a small team of programmers looking for a 2d character artist for a multiplayer arena style game with a cyberpunk aesthetic. The game is in a playable state with basic sprites and we just need art assets to bring the game to life [IMG]. We ideally want someone who can take a lead on the art direction for the game and create a look/feel for the game through their art. If you choose to stay with us we will offer more work

The camera angle and style for the game is something similar to this

    Initial responsibilities include:
    1. Character animations for running, idle, firing, and death (This includes 8 directions up, down, left, right, up_left, up_right, down_left, down_right)
    2. Reusable environmental tiles for multiple levels (maps are currently 1280x720)
We are a small team and we communicate over Slack. It'd be ideal if you could as well for close collaboration and communication; however, communication over email is fine.

If this is something that interests you, please send me an email at ecp4224@gmail.com with estimation of cost, sample work, and anything else you think is necessary and relevant for us to know about you.

I'll answer any question regarding the job either via email or in this thread directly.
