Hi All, My name is James Molloy, I'm an experienced composer and sound designer for games and visual media. I have 25+ years experience as a musician and started working in game audio over 10 years ago. I first worked for JPM interactive (Who wants to be a Millionaire, Cludeo) Here I specialised in designing music and sound effects for slots and fruit reel games.

After this I began to working in the world of indie games on titles such as TraptionBakery for Proper Bostin' games (Recently updated and re-released on Steam). I attended the School of Video Game Audio in 2017, studying WWISE and later completed a MMUS masters degree (distinction level) in 'Composing for Film, TV and Visual Media' at Kingston University in London. In the past few years I have shipped 15 + titles (Crime Scene, Santa's Secret, Emily's Treasure etc.) for Blaze Software.

My style is rooted in classic video game scoring (Koji Kondo, Tim Follin, Hiroki Kikuta) and is bought up to date by my use of interactive audio and a love of modern ambient indie game scores (Journey, What remains Edith Finch, Bastion). I specialise in cinematic, indie game, chip and ambient styles. Check out my work below.
