Is it worth today to develop in opengl ? (as METAL and Vulkan is out)

    Hello all
    (please don't recommend unity or gamemaker )
    I like to develop my game to be as cross platform as i can i want to develop it from scratch , i want to start to learn OPENGL
    the problem is METAL and Vulkan is out ,
    my question is is it worth to learn opengl ?
    as i know the development will be slow like year or 2
    thanks!
