I'd push for Monday. I've never exhibited at GDC before, so I'm not sure how much prep time I/we need on Tuesday after the fun stuff.

Assuming we're not all socially retarded, I'd imagine there might be something impromptu with groups of IGF'ers... or not. I certainly don't know San Fran. ;)

I think Tues. night will be one event. Several attendees won't arrive until Tues. But we should plan for an impromptu lunch. (jumbo shrimp) Meaning, by Tues. night most people will know which day a lunch gathering would work.

If people here agree, I'll start a new thread for who might attend Tues. night, at Buca D'Beppo. I'll take a head count and reserve space for that amount plus 50%.

    agree?

No..... cos, I'll tell you why.

Its been said that I'll "pickle my liver" one day through drinking. It may be true, but this is a GOOD thing. Pickled things last longer via the very process of pickling. As a direct result, my penchant for alcohol will make my liver last longer than average. Or longer than the average pickled onion at least.

On a more sensible note - why are there hardly ever any piss-ups in the UK any more? And when there is one, its at the arse-end of nowhere, only accessible by canoe/machete.

Count me in and sign me up for 1 attendee, please.

BTW I'll be getting back from 6 months in Africa about 3 days before GDC so I will be jet-lagged as hell... so let's make it an all-nighter! ;)

I'm in for Tuesday also. I think the Minna Mingle is that night, also -- 8pm to midnight or so.

Uh oh! I didn't know that. I have a commitment at the Mingle. I'll have to leave the dinner early. But I'll still set it up, probably for 6:30pm. I'll post an invite thread in a day or two.
