Hey everyone, I am doing an Indie game review next Saturday on my YouTube channel, if any of you would like to submit a game for moi to play I would be more than happy to receive said game: Send Links Here: matthewmaynegames@yahoo.co.uk Channel Here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQbUJet0Wixe0zU75SS1kvQ Thanks -Kilobite Productions (C:\_>)
Question: Is it only indie games? Asking is all happy with any answer. though my current games are under going the last few touches before publication! Edit: Seen your channel and a few videos, considering it for a bit...May provide a link at some point.
Just curious - if you are an Indie developer and it's "your" game, why are you asking about non-Indie games? Or are you asking of possibility of reviewing of other non-Indie games, but not yours?
Well more or less I'm asking on the benefit of all kinds of indie works besides just Games(writers, photographers, composers, artists, etc)since there is more of a field then just that it's a main concern of mine to be perfectly honest as a main viewer of mass indie field. Though don't get me wrong I make indie games as well. Just the question crossed my mind at the time.
Ah, ok, got it. I wouldn't label all other trades as "indie" as they are pretty much "indie" by definition. Like writers, photographers, composers, artists, and etc. create their things on their own, without direct involvement of big companies and corporations. They can sell it later to them or contract or freelance for big guys, but in general all "artists" are pretty much independent
well there are contract artists though that's a completely different not to mention depressing story.
You guys ask me so many questions, there should literally be a "Ask Metateen a question" thread. I do apologize to the OP, for taking over there thread by complete accident. Well contract artists are basically people who are tied to a contract and they just...draw of course. though what they draw is completely up to the one who established said contract tells them what to draw, how to draw it, there is no free will by artist until the contract dies usually. There are some artists who have escaped or have an extremely liniment contract. It's usually saddening since most contracts are pretty ruthless but pay well.
Ah, not much different from other contracts then, except artistic individuals would be taking it harder, suffering more from contracting bounds limiting their free spirit and creativity
