This is my first "indie" casual game, codenamed GameB. It should be out next month. In the meantime, a few screenshots for my fellow indiegamers:

    Looks great! Nice work...

One suggestion - similar to a comment made about my recent announcement - why not incorporate some shadows on the characters to increase the visuals? It would make the characters seem more like they are actually "in" the environment?

Congrats Steve, you've done it again, been fan of your games for a loong time.
Looks like minimalstic Settlers. I love "somewhat" ANNO/medieval theme...

After playing warcraft 3 + The frozen throne by Blizzard for $%£%^ years:) i have also "thought" about making a casual rts game.

Did i mention that Blizzard US asked me to do an audio on a best of 3 World tourney for season one?

    http://www.battle.net/war3/ladder/seasonone.aspx

I hope it does well for you, keep us informed, looking fantastic !!!

    Darren.

Because of the quality of your recent games, it's exciting to see you doing something a little more indie!

Looking forward to trying it :)

Looks very nice! Guess this is created in MMF, how do you make the speech bubbles? Is it TB, the Speechbubble Object or an other solution?

This looks awesome, okay now a bit of constructive criticism:
While the sprites look cute and crispy and look great, I am not thrilled by the interface (it looks very flat), and i don't like the "realistic" portrait in the last shot.
It would have been great if you could integrate all so that it keeps the "playmobil" aspect of the sprite elements :)
Okay I know it's too late to change anything :p, but it will probably have a well deserved success anyway;).

    [EDIT]
Wow is it really done in MMF ?

Looks like a casual version of Settlers. Interesting idea :)

BTW I don't think he used MMF to make it, I remember already for Teddy Tavern he used PTK.

As always, good to feel the excitement and appreciate the props :)

They have shadows already, and it looks awesome.

There's a game GameC already and *crosses fingers* it will be out by the end of this year. GameA is FR: The Moonlight Sonatas

Interface flat by not being 3Dish? I went with a realistic look on the portraits because keeping everything cartoony (especially larger images) can be a turn-off, as I learned from my flop Teddy Tavern.

Not fighting in the traditional sense. But I can say there will be "clashes".

Just old school active object and string object. I have a talented programmer help me with this game, amazing what MMF can do huh :)

Very nice looking! It reminds me of Age of Empires where you have to collect resources such as wood, food, gold, and stone in order to advance your village. AoE was one of my favorite games of all time so I am really looking forward to this one. I hope it does well on the casual market.
