Hi guys I'm kinda new to game development(not the game mechanics) and even though I've searched myself I didn't find the right one. So what would you choose for someone with average OOP-C++ knowledge and some Java through Android development?

If you're wanting to go the C++ route, I'd try using SFML. It's a very useful library and I've seen some pretty good games produced out of it. You can find it at http://www.sfml-dev.org/.
