DQS1 is a action/adventure telling story of brave little dragon, the beginner treasure-hunter.

Gameplay trailer here (be sure to watch it HD).

Controls are point-n-click, hold shift to fire in place (just like in Diablo).
There is also gamepad support -- left stick for movement, right stick for shooting, buttons for melee attacks (actually, gamepad controls are somewhat better).

Demo has two 'story' levels and arena. There's also a hidden test-level with more intensive combat (launched by pressing '3' from main-menu).

    Latest demo: DQS1 build#177

Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

    first impression are...

    - artwork looks good.
    - background music you get when your attacking an enemy does not fit the game, its trance then switches back to medieval.
    - could add more ground effects around enemies when they are getting attacked. A bit like what you have when the dragon runs. plus scorched earth/plants
    - camera angle is a little strange, personally i think this game would be great if done in a side on camera view like Little Big Planet where you progress through on long level, but hey thats just me :)

Great work, should do really well on Wii.

    Thanks for reply!

Music is quite temporary; actually, it's from different .hack games, so yes it should be replaced with something more appropriate (and something we have rights to use :).

On camera -- I don't think LBP-like side camera will do good for us. The whole point in having third-person view is to be able to run around freely; enemies can surround you, you can run around them etc.

And our game is not really a platformer. Main character can't jump -- that was done on purpose, we originally targeted PC with casual mouse-only point-n-click controls.
