Aye certain events in the last few months trying to give us some free time but we've still got stuff to be going at Plus I've had a bit of time to sort some areas of the engine that I've been wanting to address for a while, and some which are just plain fun Hope you're well mate, drop me a line sometime!
Even the b3d version looked great. Too bad it couldn't get finished back then for version 1.0. That would have easily owned any other game at the time.
It is a shame, I guess, that the original version didn't manage to hurdle the last 20% of development way back when, but it also meant I got a second shot at it - the old version hasn't aged too badly considering how far back it dates from, but the new version is going to look bang-up-to-date. And at least it meant we had a detailed prototype to work from. It helped a lot when it came to writing my first detailed design document.
For those following Anthony's progress, he's written a really cool blog post about what it means to go to GDC. Look forward to seeing some of you on the IGF stand.
