Thats amazing because yahoo is actually quite difficult to get on. A lot of good games get turned down there.

Is BFG managing those additional distribution channels, or are you handling them personally?

Correct me if I'm wrong here but BFG handles distribution of Atlantis as they worked with us directly to put it here on ArcadeTown using our prior existing relationship.

BigFish have bought distribution rights of Atlantis to third parties (not a buyout, be reassured :)). We set up some deals (ie. Reflexive) and they set up some (ArcadeTown, Yahoo, etc.)

svero, judging from screenshots, I'm sure we'll see Beetle Bomp on yahoo :)

    Best regards,
    Emmanuel

So basically even in ESD we have the same model as in retail, where to get in the "top places" (like yahoo) you have first to pass through some other publisher (BFG in this case).
Not that this is a bad thing, just talking :D

I'm sure going through BFG helped a lot in this case, yes.

However BigFish were able to produce sales figures and a conversion rate,
which I'm sure helped the other portals pick it up quickly in spite of their
    backlog for games.

We've just entered the top 10 on Yahoo (at #10) so hopefully the game
has some merit as well ;)

    Best regards,
    Emmanuel

    Yum!

Yeah you'd have to fly to Italy but I guess the Pizza would be worthwhile...

Emmanuel lives near, he could even come by train, just 8h and he would be eating a masterpiece pizza made by my girlfriend (she's really good at it)!

Oh yes, forgot about italian women, but Emmanuel is married so I guess that this doesn't interest much him... :D

A little bit of press for Atlantis..

    Online: MacGamer
Offline: Joystick magazine (France). We're featured this month, together with Zuma :) It's like PC gamer in France; they've just started an indie games column, so that could be another nice outlet for all of us.

    Best regards,
    Emmanuel

Very nice review that Emmanuel. :)
However this bit really gets me stumped:-
KEYBOARD!!!! ARRRRRRRGH I hear all the casual gamers' screaming!!!
    Go figure eh!!

    All the best

@sparkyboy: for the Mac version of Atlantis, if the player only has a one-button mouse, they get to switch colors with the spacebar. Two button mice are supported (ptk power) but the reviewer didn't find out. Our fault, it's not mentioned :)

I should also mention that Joystick features a full page on Dream Match Tennis and Facade (they have good words for both).

    Best regards,
    Emmanuel

Emmanuel, I wasn't inferring anything about your fine game. What I mean't by my post is that everyone seems to agree that keyboard control for casual gamers' is a NO NO at the moment, so this sentence got me stumped:-
Either he mean't to say MOUSE, or he doesn't understand the target market for your game.
Anyway its all PURE GOLD, that I'm certain of! ;)

    All the best

Well, of course not. If it's really the PC Gamer of France, I wouldn't expect them to know the market very well at all.

Just broke into the top 10, at #2, on Gamehouse.

    Best regards,
    Emmanuel
