Hey guys, fresh from GDC I'm pretty inspired about meeting more of you devs.
So I'm proposing a meeting...in Evanston at my tiny apartment.

I'll provide the food & booze, so we can get fat-drunk and then amaze ourselves with the wonderful prototypes and crap we've been working on.

    Anyone interested?

I would be there if I wasn't moving to Arizona.

I'm shooting for some weekend in April, probably a saturday night just in case people pass out :) So, the 7th, 14th, or 21st would work in my book. Friday nights might work too, but I doubt anyone would wanna hang out then :p

P.S. if the meeting goes really well, we can post pictures!

Well, not if it goes too well. B-)

And we should probably have a send-off for Impossible before he leaves. Impossible, when do you leave, exactly?

I'm not in front of my calendar at the moment, so I'll get back to you about my free April weekends. I have a few million weddings to go to this year in two states. Yeesh.

I'm leaving Saturday morning, so if its before then it would work out. Otherwise I'm sure I'll see you guys around whenever, whether its at GDC or when I'm back in town.

I second the nomination for a deadline of March 19th to choose the meetup date in April.

heh, I guess the motion passes then.
Um...also, a conflict turned up for the 7th, so I'm thinking:

    April 14th / April 21st

Well, I'll vote for the 14th because it is sooner rather than later, and doing things sooner is preferable to later. It's action that counts, not words, and we need action now. We could sit around here all day talking, passing resolutions, making clever speeches. It's not going to shift one indie.

    ...

    Er, sorry. Life of Brian.

Heh, my place is a 3min walk from a purple line and a 2min walk from the Metra stop, and it might to hard to drive back (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

btw, what happened to your car?

The short end of it is that the damned thing turns into a pumpkin when the sun goes down. I've got no tail lights, so driving becomes a bit illegal. Easy enough thing to fix if you can throw money at it, but I've had some trouble doing that lately.

Stupid pumpkin car won't get in the way of MY indie meetup schedule! Huzzah!

    etc.
