Anyone going to Minna Mingle at GDC?

    I just got an email from the Unity folks who are sponsoring the Minna Mingle at GDC. Since I know there are more than a few casual game devs here I wanted to forward that information to anyone interested:


    Unity at the Minna Mingle

    The Unity Mingle event doesn't conclude our presence at GDC: we're also helping sponsor the Casual Games Association's Minna Mingle, which is the big mingle event for the casual game industry. Attendance is free, so please come join us and hang out with a few hundred colleagues from all around the casual games industry. Please note that registration is required, please RSVP at the URL provided below.

    Attendance is free, and since we're sponsoring the event please accept our invitation to come by (registration is required).

    I'll be there for sure... I think the mingle last year may've been the most valuable couple of rooms full of connections at all of the GDC (maybe second after suite night)...

    I'll most likely be trying to play poker. :eek:

    I'll also be trying REALLY HARD to NOT get sucked into sitting at a table with people I already know... did that for a while last year... :)

    But the Minna Mingle is Wednesday (Tom's email has a typo--although the Unity mingle is Tuesday).

    The IGF award ceremony is on Wednesday night... I'll be going out afterwards in my tux ;) Tuesday night I'll be grubbin it with the rest of yall fools :)

    EDIT: oh, oops, the Minna Mingle is Wednesday? IGF ends at 8:30, so I'll be late to the party, but I'll be there :D
