http://www.sphinxmedia.com Now that the site is finished, I can go back and focus on my game. Yay! Feedback request: What do you think of the color scheme, and the overall presentation of my site?
Just one small comment (Except I like the layout ) Why have so much 'empty' space below text.. If you look at the rather unfinished/empty pages, such as home/games/download.. then it is all good good on 1024x768, but when you view 'about us' then you have a lot of empty space below the text, making the page break the layout. Of course if you had more text then yes, the page should be higher. But even on the 'privacy/legal' pages you got a lot of empty space below the text. Not a big issue but should be easy to change !! Tested on Internet Explore and also with Firefox. Oh, on Firefox it looks like the 'about us' screen moves to the left, but thats because of the scroll bar. Cheers, Sam
Thanks for your comments. Just want to be clear, in "About Us", viewing on Firefox, it should just move a little to the left, right? Not completely left, correct?
Hi, Your page looks kinda sad and grey. Don't know what's your target audience, but I don't think it will appear very appeling to anyone. I'm afraid you must put a lot more work into the color scheme and overall page design. Overally too sad and too empty. Make it more cheerfull unless you'r targeting some zombies. Layout is nice and will look good once you fill up some empty spaces.
No need to move the About Us data, the reason why it moves on FireFox is becuase the page is very high and then a scroll bar is added to the right of the window, reducing the available space for the content. Dont think there are much to do about that, Sam
Out of curiosity - why the big left and right margins? It makes your site look that much more empty, imo.
I think it looks better when there are more text there. Look at the privacy or legal info page, it looks nice. I don't think the left and right margins are too big. Do you?
Yes, it does look much better with more text. Though, personally, I still think you should "trim the fat" so to speak but hey - each to their own.
