Default What are we/you working on

I liked similar named thread about a year ago where everybody could post what they are working on currently in a more light manner. Because I want to post stuff for feedback often and I don't want to make a big deal with new thread each time and because I like to see what others are working on... see the progress...

So I am making this thread again.. please post as you wish... I will

After months I have finished my game, but have to wait for a patch (MMF2) to be able to release it, finally

It seems I had an inspiration of future requirements when I started working at the game, regarding this thread: http://forums.indiegamer.com/showthread.php?t=9246

My main character is a white, blond fairy, but unfortunately with green eyes and clothing, also without a wand, but at least with some magic skills. Oh, yes, I also dared to create a game where you don't have to match anything, very adventurous, but so am I

Our next game in the pipe is a new version of Defender of the Crown. It's somewhere between alpha and beta right now.

Indiepath that is very coolish I must admit. Joka is your game Penguin versus Yeti also made in MMF? (I remember when my nieces were playing it and they were having quite fun)

uh... I am also making turn based head2head online strategy http://www.itmmetelko.com/webdemos/bushes/ (Testing is quite long but fun at this one.. I only played it from start to finish twice as it took few days to a week each time - the guy who "tests" it with me beat me each time ... I reckon this bug must be fixed) and new www.timeeaters.com website

Yes, Penguin vs Yeti was also created in MMF. I wish I could have used the cool features of MMF2 to create smooth scrolling...

At long long last, I am wrapping up Loonyland 2. It's in beta, and I'm letting people preorder it and play the beta to get me lots of handy bug reports! That's working quite well. I'll probably do the same in the future - gets me beta testers who pay me to test, and gets them advance play of the game they were going to buy anyway. Everybody is happy!

Working on that FPS idea. I'm still experimenting with stuff, here is a video (bzip2'ed DivX video) with some of the stuff i've made until now.

Lots of things to be done, but i'm almost done with the scripting engine. In fact the scripting engine fully works as i want it and i'm near the completion of the script-to-nativecode interface tool (so i won't have to manually make wrapper functions). Even that it's almost finished, i just need to test it a bit :-P.

But beyond that i need to work on the editor (that is, if i decided to use that engine - i have three engines around and each one of them uses a totally different approach for world structure... however this one (i call it, the Alithia engine - alithia means truth in Greek :-P) lets me create worlds very fast, but at the cost of them looking a bit "blocky" - although with detail objects this is a minor issue... at the other hand, it has realtime occlusion culling).

Oh God, I hope so! I've wanted to make a remake of Rockstar for ages, but I always get discouraged when I think of all the music I'd have to record for it.

(You know, the rehearsal and gig noises. I wanted to make something similar but with recorded music and maany different skill levels for the musicians.)

I'm splitting time between CityScape Battle ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=5r2dO1C7FBk ) and the follow-up to my popular minigolf web game.

CityScape battle and that alien match-4 game look really fun, great job guys! I am still finishing this uberproject, Venture the Void (www.venturethevoid.com) but also am toying with a fun, easy, new project called Project: Lui (for now) (www.kittylambda.com/?q=lui)

I've been writing my 2D multiplayer platformer for almost a year now (it feels much longer). I've got a few network bugs to clear up, and then I'm going to try a small alpha release with a few devoted testers.

Really early screenshots can be seen here, although this is my new website (under construction) so don't expect many other pages to work. NEX Information and Screenies

Wow... lots of interesting stuff coming up around here. I'm still working on the same thing I was last time this thread came around.... Blobyrinth. One more month, maybe two... (that's been my mantra for 6 months at least) and it'll be done. Done, I sez.

Sokoban Comedy Epic. Anyone in history ever put THOSE three words together?

I'm working on an infinite matching game called SinFin.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlL9mL1AyYs The video isn't great but you can get the idea of it.You string together pieces to earn power ups and change direction of the pieces. Based on TJ jackson's Riff. Now I just need to build a better interface.

JankoM are you done testing Bushes? And what exactly is TimeEaters.com

Surrealix some parts of your site are giving me errors. Your art style looks very interesting.

I'm working on Making Friends (WIP screenshot), a clone with a twist of the classic...hum, still don't know the name in english: you take two cards, if equal they dissapear, if not they cover again...you know, it's a classic. BTW, could you tell me how do you call it in english?

In Germany this game is called "Memory" (and you have a good chance to be sued if you dare to use this protected name here), isn't this the name for international use, too?

I'm working on a cross between pacman and ghost busters, a small game that will take me around a month from start to finish and probably sell for a few dollars.

No screenshots but i do have it up and running and its really playing very well with the all important fun/addictive elements in place already.

Darren.

I'm currently working on sod all! I'm at one of those Proper Games Companies where my contract prohibits me from working on my own stuff in my own time, and following the dismal retail performance of my last game they have me doing the sort of work usually given to a junior coder.

Just reading these forums and working up the nerve for the leap into poverty and happiness. Only one of which is guaranteed.
