    Cool my 15 minutes...

Thought I might mention this, since no one seems to have noticed...

The 7th annual ceremony will be hosted by Double Fine founder and 2006 award recipient Tim Schafer (Psychonauts, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle), and will feature entertainment by MC Chris and video game humorists Mega64. In addition, organizers note that the Independent Game Festival Awards will be announced during the same ceremony in a program hosted by PocketWatch Games' Andy Schatz.

Nicely done Andy, say hello to Nicolas from Ready At Dawn studios (the Daxter guys) if he's there, he's a longtime friend of mine and artist extraordinaire

    So very true.

Congrats to you on the hosting the IGF awards thing! Should be fun! I'll be there to see it I think...

Well, I'd just like to congratulate Andy for the fantastic job he did hosting the IGF awards. You are a brave man, Andy! You seemed more comfortable with the emcee gig than Tim Schafer did, actually.

For those (like me) who couldn't be there for the show, I highly recommend the video of the IGF and GDC awards. Good stuff!

HAHA thanks guys and gals!!! It was a blast hosting... and the rest of the GDC was fun too since I could pretend I was VIP. Actually my favorite part of the awards show was standing backstage afterwards meeting all the winners of the Players Choice as they came through... I prob shook Miyamoto's (sp?) hand 5 times. All the winners was really friendly and gracious.
