    Default Creating Game Trailers

I'd like to create a trailer for my game - but am unsure how to go about it. What is the best software to use? Any tips/advice?

    Go with this guy:

He's cheap, will likely do a better job than you would if you've never done it before, and has connections to get the trailer posted in some high-visibility locations.

This program http://www.fraps.com/ will help you capture footage of your game being played. This isn’t a complete answer to your question but it is one valuable tool that will help.

Fraps is pretty good. Thanks James.

Coyote - is he still doing those? His website appears to be down and I've got no reply from him yet.

I can piece together stuff and add fx, not too well though. You should find an mac user and use imovie, its a synch.

Yup, he just did one for me last week. Kind of a commercial for Outpost Kaloki (we didn't write the game, but we're partnered with the guys who did and are pushing it on our site). I'm expecting an email from him, too, so next time I see him online I'll point him to this thread.

    Default Work with your composer

I wrote the track for a game trailer
and it came out pretty well. The movie was made long before I became involved in the project, so I just worked with it. If I had been involved, I would have suggested the pacing of the title cards be a little different, but even with this little "flaw", I still enjoy watching it from time to time.
