Default Space Ball -- "multiplayer pong"!

The game has been working well and it's a lot of fun. Merry Christmas Indiegamer!

I would like to know if it works and how you like the control physics. We're just getting started on a database and ranking system so we could use ideas there, as well.

Would anyone like to give us feedback if you have tried it?

hey Golden, its a pretty good looking and well playing game you got there, though I feel like I've played this exact game in flash many many times...

It also took me a moment to realize the ball's positition was indicated by the green lines, which to me was much harder to judge than the ball having a shadow...

Thanks for trying it out RohoMech. You're right. The challenge game is based on Curve Ball. The difference is that the player must move around to cover the playing area. Our competition game, available in the multiplayer lobby, is quite different. It requires more precise control of the paddle and well timed swings. We're trying to figure out how to get a critical mass in the lobby so players can easily find human opponents!

I noticed something weird, if I win a level by a score of 3-2 for example, then on the next level the initial score will be 0-2 instead of 0-0.

ah the challenge of getting humans to play your game...:-)
The match-making seems pretty nice, so I guess its just a matter of getting enough people to download your game.

    Good luck

My thoughts exactly about the Wii. Still trying to find one over here.

If I get portals coming to me asking for flash I'll think about it. But I kind of like all the stuff i could do using DirectX.
