the demo is buggy. Try and run it, and you'll see.

When I change the run.sh to point to srts_demo instead of srts, I get this error:

./srts_demo: error while loading shared libraries: libfmodex.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I'm on a debian machine.

I just downloaded again, and get the same error with the wrong file name. "srts" instead of srts_demo inside the run.sh.


When I change it, I now get:

./run.sh: line 4: 25522 Floating point exceptionLD_LIBRARY_PATH=lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ./srts_demo

Maybe I'll officially release this tomorrow. I don't know a lot of people that have a linux box to test the way I would like. I'm updating the file as we speak. I'll let you know when it's up. Thanks for testing this for me!

I've uploaded the run.sh script by itself on the server, since that seems to be the origin of all the mixups.

Just figured out problem!!

Sorry for all the confusion. The problem was with the fmodexp.so not actually being copied over. For some reason, those files were being created as links to the file on my computer instead of it being an actual copy. I've now tested the updated tar file on two different linux machines and it seems to work fine now.

This error is just after downloading the new tar file. I am also running Debian.

So I looked at the run.sh file, and I see this line:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ./srts_demo

It doesn't seem right to me. I think I normally see that environment variable setup as a new value, and I don't think I have ever seen it used to actually run anything.

It should be fixed now, but I'm working on it with some Linux testers to make sure.
