--THE GAME

Robotopia is an all action, fast paced shooter that takes you online to stage epic battles that span across a beautiful multi-scrolling world.

Here you can play flag games where players battle to hold points across the landscape. Or play as bounty hunter where allegiances can be made as players fight for robo currency.
Either way you are going to be caught up in some intense action making strong allies and fierce enemies!

If going online immediately seems a bit daunting, get stuck into the one player game that is designed to train you in the art or robo destruction. Here you will meet a variety of drones and soldiers who will test your skills and increase your robot's performance through an RPG style experience system.

Through the stages you will realize there are many moves to master such as the teleport technique and the deadly and spectacular energy blade that can deflect your enemies bullets as well as cause some serious cutting damage.

Damn, when i saw the title the first thing i thought of was:
"George Jetson and the Legend of Robotopia"!
A great adventure game i never solved & want to try again.

Yeah, I hope some more people check out this game. I almost overlooked it thinking it was a casual game.

The game has a kind of cool '80s cartoon retro style. I played the single player mode and had quite a bit of fun. Hopefully you can get some people online because it seems this game would be a blast to play online.

I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been a bigger response to this game. Finally a game that isn't a match 3 or araknoid clone and nobody seems to pay it any attention. Am I missing something?

I've had this thread open in a tab for the last two days - I'm just trying to find time to check it out. It certainly looks interesting!

Tried it, couldn't do anything, stopped playing.
A help screen would be appreciated, or if there's one, it's well hidden in the user-repellent-interface.
Tried the mission level :I never found how I could go underground in the mission game, is there some way to shoot downward to break the white "barrier"? I'll never know...
Tried the random levels: lots of things flying and I died in a few seconds but I couldn't tell why..At this stage I still didn't know what every item was doing (I supposed hearts were for life, but the rest? the fruits?) and what the little colored discs were representing.
Multiplayer modes seemed to complicated to even start and I didn't try em.

In summary : you really need to work on the interface and the presentation because that put me off. When your target audience is hardcore you need to have things straightforward for your players not to waste time in the interface or in a readme file (which I couldn't find).

Other than that game looks good, maybe I'll give it another go later...
