    Default 911 lawsuit

I hope this isn't too far off topic or too sensitive a topic, but it shocked/scared me enough to want to let other people see it. This is a $7 billion lawsuit against Bush et al. I'm not interested in any flame war, but here it is anyway.

Read or listen to the interview.

    Default holocaust lawsuit against bush

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/9/27/135240/759

You guys don't even know the half of it. The Bush family is the biggest dirty crooked business family ever...

FIRST OF ALL, I AM AN AMERICAN, so don't you flame me about being Anti-American. Like every decent self-respecting person, I appreciate the truth and not being used and lied to.

I suggest everyone check out these news sites to get the truth of what's going on in the world today. You will learn some pretty sad stuff so be prepared (like how american soldiers are raping 14 year old iraqi girls, or how depleted uranium from weapons used in iraq is causing american soliders to get sick and have deformed babies, or how some american soldiers coming home from iraq are comitting suicide because their commanders forced them to kill unarmed iraqi solidiers at gunpoint or because they accidently shot up a bunch of school kids)... It's very sad, but you won't regret it, it will open your eyes and your heart:

http://www.democracynow.org -- world famous INDIE news show Mon-Fri 9AM ET (web video and audio streaming), it's also on radio and some satellite channels

http://www.pacifica.org -- INDIE news radio, they have local stations like KPFK 90.7FM in Los Angeles, and other parts of the country

http://www.angryarab.blogspot.com -- great blog about various stories about iraq and the middle east, updated daily, great if you want to find out what the U.S. is really doing in iraq

http://news.bbc.co.uk -- BBC news (much better than CNN, at least they tell you more of the truth)

anyone have any more INDIE/TRUTH news sites?

This is perhaps the biggest load of crap I've seen. Doesn't your common sense meter go off the charts reading this stuff?

    lol.
Have you watched fox news lately?
Believe it or not the war in iraq isnt about weapons of mass destruction or human rights its about oil. There are plenty of other unstable nations with WMDS, plenty of evil tyrannical leaders who murder and abuse their people, but the west turns a blind eye (often we sell these guys weapons, land mines, helicopter gunships...). The ONLY thing that made iraq special was it was slap-bang on top of the 2nd biggest reserve of oil on earth.
Whats truly ironic is that if the average US car had the same fuel efficiency as the average european one, the US wouldnt even need middle east oil.

    cliffski: LOL!

it's like when you are in grade school they teach you how great and loving your country is. and then when you get older they say:

"by the way, we also exterminated the entire native american population, enslaved black people, etc................."

some people still don't get it!

Hey cliffski, you are British right, so you know a little about BBC? I think BBC News is starting to become more legit and respected these days huh? They have been around only since the 1920's, when they opened their first website, but they are surprisingly popular even so!

    President Bush:

The Stupidest Evil Christian Mastermind to Ever Be A Puppet Running The Whole Planet.

DailyKos embraced that whole CBS memo thing, said they were 100% legit for a whole bevy of reasons... I don't think you can trust that site to stay rational.

There are already a zillion boards out there to discuss politics. Personally I don't think this is the right place to discuss this sort of thing.

It's too far off topic and probably won't do much to keep the indie community tight. It's divisive and arguments on these subjects don't generally go anywhere.

The only exception I'd say is if it's something poltical to do with games. Like a new law about game violence or something like that. So I'm going to close the thread.

Sorry guys, too much flame bait here... this much is true, no other president has ever polarized the american public to such an extent. People either love him or hate him, there's no middle ground and no reconciliation between the two groups. As such, it's really not a good discussion for these boards...
