Well a subtle amount of blurring probably would look a bit more like what you see when actually playing the game - just a touch to give the impression of movement..
There's an arkanoid-type game out there that makes VERY liberal use of glow effects and blurring. It's cool as hell, if you ask me. I can't remember the name right now, but it was reviewd at GameTunnel last year.Originally Posted by DanMarshall
