    Angry Link redirection

    Hi,

I've taken a look at the different sites from whom I have received awards for my "Nick, the Robot : Sokoban" game. I remarked that one site (GlobalShareware) redirected the link to the Nick-Review-Page to http://www.dynomite.com-download.net/ .

Is this a new common usage or what ? Has anyone had similar problems ? What is your experience with shareware sites giving you awards and asking you to link to their review pages ?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Interesting. Well this case migth just be one where the domain was purchased. I don't mind linking to reviews but if someone were to redirect that link to another page I'd probably remove the link. Generally I think the site that does the review wants the back link for the exposure and not to redirect it elsewhere.

I would hope that's not common. It might be an error on their part. I would remove the link, contact them about the error, and then if they fix it I would consider putting it back up. If it was an intentional thing then I would never link to their site again.
