Since I have been a slacker and haven't been to the last few I am clearing my schedule for this one. Place and time sounds good to me - see you Saturday.
Hey all,
Is the indie gamer pizza night happening this Sat? 6pm? Alfie's in Lynnwood?
If so, I'm in.
[EDIT] Clarifying to be Sept 3rd.

I think it may happen that weekend - though it's Labor Day weekend and we might want to postpone until the next weekend, though I don't really wanna. I missed the last one, so I'm itchy for some indie talk.
so what do you guys talk about at these things? Just curious, I am in the area so I was just wondering.

Anything, really.
We chat about the projects we're working on. We talk about news and goings-on in the industry. We talk about ideas and bounce them around. Sometimes people show off the games they're working on. Through all of this we network with each other and get to know others in the area, and I'm found that these ties occasionally lead to interesting things happening...

I can probably make it for a couple hours.
But it just wouldn't be me without first complaining about the location again.Damn Lynnwood.
I can't make it this weekend. Relatives are coming into town. Have fun guys!
I'll come to one someday after I move to Oregon. It's a hell of a drive but I will do itSadly, not this next meeting... It's like 50 hour drive to get there and I just can't make it by tommorrow

I'm planning on being there.
Well, we missed that last one, but when you drive up, I will definitely want to show up so I can meet The Man!Originally Posted by terin

I believe I will humbly accept the title of "The Man" In fact, in a recent poll I did during a performance 48% of all women believe that I am, in fact "The man."
This was a polling group of 100 women at a ren fair asked the simple question by the polster (who played my sister at the show) "Excuse me, but is this man "the man?"
I felt 48% was pretty darn good, but I believe Erik's reccomendation is worth enough to push me over the 50% barrier and officially proclaim myself "The Man"...
(This is, weirdly enough, a true story... and I will juggle at the indie pizza night sometime in the coming months... so if you aren't there for the stellar discussion I will bring, come for the show!)
